NORTHERN CALIFORNIA : HEALDSBURG : MATERNITY FAMILY SESSIONS

Oh my...our Fall + Winter months have been a complete blur! ...add in our overwhelming love for all things 'Holiday' & I completely ran out of time to share photos! Since I still have all these gorgeous people sitting on my Computer staring at me - let's play 'catch-up', shall we?!

Smack dab in the middle of two Weddings back in October, I ran down to Healdsburg to shoot two beautiful Families mid-week. Both had flown in for some down-time & I was so excited to have the opportunity to get together! Neither was necessarily going for a 'maternity' Session, but I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to snap a couple cute bellies while we were at it...!

You might remember Jennifer + Casey from their fun Wedding back in 2013? Now they have an adorable little Miss for me to play with - who should be a big Sister very soon! I LOVE getting to spend a Wedding day with a couple & then see their Family progress over the years - such a blessing!

 Casey + Jen have a really fun personality together - I know their Family has some AMAZING adventures ahead of them for many years to come! Especially if the Giants keep tearing it up out there! "-)

Next, I headed to a beautiful Vacation Rental nestled in a Redwood Groove right along the river to meet with Erin + Mark! They were JUST Married back home in New York, but knowing it was Marks' life-long dream to visit THE Redwoods? They picked this spot to unwind after the festivities for a quick Honeymoon...! A strategic call from a bestie back home & viola'! Local photographer to capture it for you! (what a perfect gift!!)

 I was thrilled to find such beautiful spots to shoot in, as most of California was so dry & brittle!

They have COLOR!!

 These two were just beautiful together - I so would've LOVED to be at that Wedding! hee hee

 Mommy has GOT to be exhausted after all excitement + traveling...THANK YOU, both, for being so great to work with! (Mark - did I get the PS'n right for ya?! lol)

 Yup! He's living the dream, baby, living the dream...! "-)

NORTHERN CALIFORNIA : UKIAH VALLEY : MATERNITY FAMILY SESSION

SOMEONE'S Baby Shower is just about to start & I wanted to get this wonderful Session posted just for them!! xo

Yesterday, I had the privilege of playing Photographer with this beautiful, young Family!

Our kids go to School together & Meagan reached out months ago to get this Maternity Session on the books! Having done the School Photos for Gavin? I knew we would have way too much fun! He's a doll!

You may recognize our barn from many past Sessions. It makes the perfect back-drop + gives me the perfect light to start with as we wait for the late-afternoon light to settle in...my favorite starting point for a photo shoot! Let's go, cuties!

Meagan!! OMG - - gorgeous, gorgeous Momma!! And, her hair looked positively amazing!!!

 One thing that was totally apparent as we shot? Gavins' love for his Family...he's a snuggler. Shhh...don't let him know I told ya...!

...of course, he likes to be goofy, too!

Before leaving the house, I wanted to get a couple softer shots just for Momma...

Next we trekked up the mountains just a bit to a spot I just adore...

Denton + Meagan are still technically 'Newlyweds' - didn't wanna miss this traditional shot!As we headed out of the hills, I asked Gavin if he wanted to stop on this fun Tree I spotted for a moment. His joy & excitement for his new baby sisters' arrival was evident throughout the shoot today - but, I wouldn't be surprised if he maybe...just maybe...has a few tricks to teach her when she's ready!?Soon - very soon - this photo will have a beautiful baby girl to add to it!! ...wishing you an AMAZING  & very smooth journey as you start your new Beginnings, Ramsey Family!! UKIAH VALLEY MATERNITY SESSION : COMING SOON

I had the honor + privilege of creating some amazing images for a friend this past week. We've known her + her Family for nearly a decade now & I've always loved hearing stories about her son...he & our daughter are so much alike in so many ways - which brings a smile to my heart.

Erica is due in just a few weeks with her 2nd little boy, so I'm really glad us busy Mommas find time to get these in!

Erica's one of those 'mysterious' souls...she's bright & giving, yet quiet & subdued. So, when she told me her & her husband were starting this Journey? It was ME squealing...she probably just smiled that simple, all-knowing smile...I actually wouldn't really know - I'm always face-down on her massage table when we're together. She's a healer - so, to be able to give her something back after all she's given me brings me tremendous joy...

Awww ~ there's that big smile! xo

Erica, I hope you know just how beautiful you are ~ inside + out! You're positively glowing right this moment...and I hope that light continues to shine on you + your new Family as you nurture one another for all these years to come...we love you all & can not WAIT to see your Family blossom! xo
