NORTHERN CALIFORNIA : HEALDSBURG : MATERNITY FAMILY SESSIONS

Oh my...our Fall + Winter months have been a complete blur! ...add in our overwhelming love for all things 'Holiday' & I completely ran out of time to share photos! Since I still have all these gorgeous people sitting on my Computer staring at me - let's play 'catch-up', shall we?!

Smack dab in the middle of two Weddings back in October, I ran down to Healdsburg to shoot two beautiful Families mid-week. Both had flown in for some down-time & I was so excited to have the opportunity to get together! Neither was necessarily going for a 'maternity' Session, but I wasn't about to pass up the opportunity to snap a couple cute bellies while we were at it...!

You might remember Jennifer + Casey from their fun Wedding back in 2013? Now they have an adorable little Miss for me to play with - who should be a big Sister very soon! I LOVE getting to spend a Wedding day with a couple & then see their Family progress over the years - such a blessing!

Casey + Jen have a really fun personality together - I know their Family has some AMAZING adventures ahead of them for many years to come! Especially if the Giants keep tearing it up out there! "-)

THANK YOU, Simas Family, for letting me know you guys would be in town - I'm so excited I got to see your beautiful little girl & I can't WAIT to meet the new addition!! xo

Next, I headed to a beautiful Vacation Rental nestled in a Redwood Groove right along the river to meet with Erin + Mark! They were JUST Married back home in New York, but knowing it was Marks' life-long dream to visit THE Redwoods? They picked this spot to unwind after the festivities for a quick Honeymoon...! A strategic call from a bestie back home & viola'! Local photographer to capture it for you! (what a perfect gift!!)

I was thrilled to find such beautiful spots to shoot in, as most of California was so dry & brittle!

They have COLOR!!

These two were just beautiful together - I so would've LOVED to be at that Wedding! hee hee

Mommy has GOT to be exhausted after all excitement + traveling...THANK YOU, both, for being so great to work with! (Mark - did I get the PS'n right for ya?! lol)

Wow! What a spot to unwind!

Yup! He's living the dream, baby, living the dream...! "-)

I sure hope you guys are all settled in & loving 'Married Life' + enjoyed a little quiet time - 'cause I think that baby is just about HERE?!?!? CONGRATULATIONS & Thank You for allowing me to share in such an amazing time of your Lives! xo

HEALDSBURG WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER : SIMI WINERY

Hilary has had this day in the forefront of her mind for 2 full years now! She could see it vividly & has been counting the days.

Hilary & Henry met 5 yrs ago & were positively SMITTEN with one another. Her words...and, I believe it! I first met them last year as guests at another Wedding & the thing that caught my eye right away about Hilary? Her adorable style. Which, then, it shouldn't surprise me that her passion is Photography!

She contacted me right away to see about spending their day with them, as well! Us girls have spent a lot of time emailing, chatting, getting to know each other & of course - discussing the ins/outs of all things Photography! I just love getting to know our Clients on a personal level...makes the Wedding day so much more fun!

I met up with the ladies at the Fountain Grove Inn in Santa Rosa to get ready & kept myself busy while the lovely ladies of Lavish Hair Studio worked their magic. These girls all looked STUNNING!

I think she approves!! Hilary was BEAMING! xo

Niels hung out with the boys at Simi Winery to get ready - a serene location nestled right in the middle of Healdsburg. Whether you're a wine connoisseur or not...just go mingle, stay awhile - it's worth a visit!

Okay! Let's get MARRIED!

Everything about their day was so well thought out & came together so beautifully! The food, the personal touches, the Cake - - gorgeous!

Grandma even got in on the fun!! A-DORABLE!

Without a dry eye in the room...everyone was literally bawling as Hilary fell into her Dad's arms for the Father/Daughter dance...I, myself, had to step out for a moment. No way I could keep it together. Although Hilary's Mom was with us in their hearts this day - she hasn't been with Hilary & her Brother in person for many years. As a new Mom, I now know...we're supposed to live forever...right?

There we go, back in Henry's arms - all is right in the World...

And ready to party with the girls!!

You guys were so so great to work with! THANK YOU for including us in your elegant Evening!! Now go enjoy Bora Bora! I can not WAIT to see all the gorgeous pix, Hil!! xo
