PETALUMA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER : FLYING CLOUD FARMS

Shhh - don't tell Daddy I stayed up so late! I was supposed to to be in bed hrs ago, getting some rest before our 9am departure for Spain....but I just can't help myself to post last nights' Wedding!

Rebecca & Kyle are pretty much like Cupcakes...tiny, cute & full of SWEET SURPRISES you just can't get enough of!! I could post a ton more images - but, I had to just snag a few to share...!

We started our day at the Double Tree in Rohnert Park where the ladies were right on time & looking GORGEOUS! It also happens to be one of my favorite places to shoot Formals - since it offers a variety of dynamic backdrops...and you just can't beat the lush colors available year round!

Couples : Their Bridal Suites are amazing & offer plenty of space for everyone!!

Selecting Flying Cloud Farms nestled in the rolling hills of Petaluma created just the right canvas to create the images this young couple had asked for. (Jeannette is awesome to work with!)

They wanted fun - they wanted traditional - they wanted edgy - they wanted fresh. I hope I was able to give them ALL of these & more!

I do know one thing Rebecca really wanted was a 'first reveal', but Kyle was adamant about saving that special moment for the isle...and LOOK! He can't take his EYES off her! Makes me smile...

So, after Formals, we snuck away for a moment to have a 'pretend reveal' - you can see all Kyle wanted to do was seduce her with his smolder....!

Niels & I absolutely LOVE when the Bridal Party is as upbeat & fun as the Bride & Groom - when I 1st met Rebecca & Kyle several months ago, they promised a FUN night! What a fantastic group! THANK YOU!

Having the opportunity to laugh - bust out at any given moment? Priceless! (especially THIS much!!)

SOOO CLOSE : PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN WORLD PREMIER

So, there you are with your Family as Disneyland is closing down for THE World movie Premiere of the newest installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean phenomenon "On Stranger Tides".

You've managed to secure your place along the Black Carpet...the crowd is full of die-hard fans - everything from Tween screams to Adult Swashbucklers - all enjoying the upbeat festivities as Pirates dance & cheer in every direction!

You look down to make sure the little one's cozy - - oh no!!! The double fisted eye rub!! Anything but THAT!!! Then - what to your Mommy ears comes billowing up from knee height!? "I'm sooo tired...I just want to go back to the room..." - followed by an immediate, "no, I want Mommy to come!"

Load up the stroller, kid's passed out within minutes & I COULD've turned around - I might've been able to squish back in somewhere...but, well, I'm a Family gal. And Johnny Depp would just have to be my ship in the night...my great, big, amazing Pirate Ship in the night...

SACRAMENTO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER : TALITHA & EDDIE

It's not often we're invited to attend a Wedding as GUESTS!!!....So, it was an extra special occasion for us to attend a dear friends Wedding this weekend! So excited!!!

Now, while I did insist I would be there as a guest & Mommy - we all knew I might end up a little trigger happy & take way too many photos...! But, I did tame myself quite a bit...I promise!! "-)

What made this day a little more fun than most was Eddie & Talitha were bringing all of their closest Family & Friends together to also celebrate their Daughter's 1st Birthday! Pink Princess Theme & all - - PERFECT!

Like most of us these days, I can post my thoughts + emotions with ease to friends, Family & virtual strangers via social media...but, just the thought of doing so one-on-one can move me to tears.

When Jenett with Miller Videography approached me for an intimate moment on Video for the new Bride & Groom, I instantly choked up & declined....I'm quite comfortable hiding BEHIND my camera after all! Here's their beautiful SNEAK PEEK!

I, of course, would prefer to have been able to eloquently gaze into the camera & profess my overflowing love for a friend that I have had for over a decade now....recalling how we 1st met at a time in her life that was full of growth & change & understanding.

And how, now - here we are going thru such a similar time in our lives all these yrs later! Having both become Parents recently...realizing all the ridiculously enamored joy that comes to our lives by being able to share each day with our sweet natured daughters....! What contentment.

While Niels & I will be celebrating our 14th Anniversary shortly, and you two have just embarked on this Journey - I know our Families will be connected for decades to come & I value our Friendship more than you could ever know! xo
