There's been times, we've literally had no more than 3 mins to inhale our Dinner before leaping off to the next Event of the evening! (Note to Coordinators : PLEASE feed us while the Bride & Groom eat...not after all the Guests have been served...by then, we're often needed for the Toasts or more Photos of the Bride & Groom!)
Which takes me to a Time-Line option I'd REALLY like our Brides to explore. The Reveal!
Most of our Clients have wanted the Groom to see them for the 1st time as they enter the isle. Which is a timeless moment...I love it!
Over the past few years - it's become quite a trend to do a 'First Glance' prior to the Ceremony - which also allows for the Photographer to capture your Formals while you're fresh, energetic - and your face doesn't hurt from all those Smiles just yet!!
Are you ready to embrace this trend more...!? If so, our arrival time will slide up an hour to incorporate Bride & Groom Formals prior to the Ceremony. Which means only Family & Bridal Party Formals will need to be taken after the Ceremony.
Often times, by the time we get to the Bride & Groom Formals - we are entirely too rushed for that Dinner Announcement, may be losing light, certainly needing some snacks for our Couple that have already had a very long day - and by now? You're ready to PARTY!!
Everyone wants FABULOUS photos - - us Photographers want the time & light to get them for you! "-)
Think about it...an Engagement Session is usually around 90 mins...leisurely, un-pressing time to get creative + utilize the Environment, have fun & laugh a lot...'Pressed for Time' Formals before Dinner? Closer to 30 mins...or less! And, these are the ones that matter MOST, right?
