ROHNERT PARK MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY : CHRISTINA & KYLE

When Christina contacted me months ago to ask me if I'd be willing to do their Maternity Session, I was positively touched. It's been years since we shared in their Wedding day & to now see their Family growing is an absolute joy! Their Wedding was an absolute BLAST & I was so excited to wrap my arms around them + now share in this special, special time!! xo

ROHNERT PARK ENGAGEMENT PHOTOGRAPHY : SARAH & CORY

It's true - I don't always know where I'm going for a Photo-shoot until I get there...which I absolutely LOVE!! You get to go into it with an open mind, no pre-determined backdrops or 'scenes' you need to force & just roll with it! Which is kinda why I think Sarah & Cory just might be so perfect together...they're the type of people to just roll with it! Which is AWESOME...!

Getting to shoot them in this stunning, outdoor environment was amazing! A chance for them to step away from home & take a little break from their Spring-time Gardening at their new house - plus, get to know their Photographer a little bit! And, when they told me they really didn't have anything in particular in mind to do with the Photos? It was Photo-Freedom to explore & play! Thanks, guys!!
These two 1st met on their way to a Concert with friends! How fun is that for a kick-off?!
- and I'm guessing it's that SMILE that grabbed Cory right away!
Now wait a second...no one told me we had HATS!!! xo
We were on our way out, a full Session behind us - but, I had warned them...I'm never done until the Camera's are tucked IN the car - and I'm driving down the road...poor things were kind enough to let me play with just a few more poses on the way out...but, in all honesty - I could've shot all day!
THANK YOU, guys, for being so easy-going & what we here call 'totally chillaxed'! I'm so excited to be working with you this Summer! I can tell it's going to be an amazing day to be a Photographer! xo

ROHNERT PARK ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS : AMANDA & NATHAN

2013 Bookings are flowing in - which means Save the Dates are going out...! While Niels did his best to keep up with the excited Brides attending Sunday's Wine Country Bridal Expo, I stepped away for a little E-Session once we were all set up!

Having told me they might be a little 'shy' in front of the lens, I knew to keep it simple. I don't ever want our clients to feel uncomfortable in front of the camera...it's not always a cozy place. I know...I am so NOT a fan of having my own photo taken! "-)

When I mentioned meeting up at SSU, Amanda jumped all over it! Having shot a Wedding there earlier this year, I just love all the different back drops it offers...it also happens to be where they met & fell in love! Perfection! Couldn't ask for a better location, then!
As we began, they informed me they've never had Professional photos done of themselves at all! What!? Not only are they totally adorable together - Amanda is simply STUNNING! That hair, those eyes - - I am SO excited to see her take her 1st steps down that isle next May - - as Nathan lays his eyes on his beautiful bride. I already know his breath will be taken away!!!
Okay - last ditch effort - I TRIED for a little leaf fight...no go. Maybe - just maybe - they'll be ready to 'wild' things up a bit now that they know what to expect - - working with them was so effortless and they just shoot so PERFECTLY!!! Stay tuned...! xo

ROHNERT PARK WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER : WEDGEWOOD FOXTAIL

Nicole & Ryan were just about as cute as could be! Their interaction together was fun & spunky - you could tell this couple was Best Friends - and had been for YEARS now!

Fellow High School Sweethearts, I knew to be ready for that 1st Glance as she came down the isle. And, while he insisted it didn't happen - - I was SURE to share the tears photo as soon as I could! Those moments are priceless...!

Pink stripes in her hair & a pink/black polka-dotted cake - yup - this girl could FaceBook me anytime!! "-)

Here's to you & a long, fulfilling life together - wherever that may take you! xo
