PETALUMA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER : REBECCA & KYLE : WHEN ONE POST JUST ISN'T ENOUGH....

...the MOMENT I stepped foot in the door it was 'go time!'

We'd been traveling for 24 hrs, our brains thought it was 9am although it was now Midnight & it would be days before we saw any sight of Time-Line 'normalcy'...

Leaving a Wedding waiting for 2 whole weeks had been in the back of my mind constantly!

Amazingly enough - - it all worked out beautifully. The sky didn't fall...our Clients waited patiently...and every Photographers scariest dream of a Computer crash never occurred (although - I did have all the files ALSO on my LapTop just in case!!)

Normally, as I sit down to edit immediately following a Wedding, I let the emotion of the day guide me.

I was quite surprised to find that same emotion came right back the moment I began. Such proof of just how powerful your selection in a Wedding Photographer really is!

I believe your images should always bring back all of the love, that laughter, the joy & your commitment to one another you shared that day. Our images are what brings your 'Story' back to life time & time again! What a privilege & honor it is to share that with you...! THANK YOU!!

PETALUMA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER : FLYING CLOUD FARMS

Shhh - don't tell Daddy I stayed up so late! I was supposed to to be in bed hrs ago, getting some rest before our 9am departure for Spain....but I just can't help myself to post last nights' Wedding!

Rebecca & Kyle are pretty much like Cupcakes...tiny, cute & full of SWEET SURPRISES you just can't get enough of!! I could post a ton more images - but, I had to just snag a few to share...!

We started our day at the Double Tree in Rohnert Park where the ladies were right on time & looking GORGEOUS! It also happens to be one of my favorite places to shoot Formals - since it offers a variety of dynamic backdrops...and you just can't beat the lush colors available year round!

Couples : Their Bridal Suites are amazing & offer plenty of space for everyone!!

Selecting Flying Cloud Farms nestled in the rolling hills of Petaluma created just the right canvas to create the images this young couple had asked for. (Jeannette is awesome to work with!)

They wanted fun - they wanted traditional - they wanted edgy - they wanted fresh. I hope I was able to give them ALL of these & more!

I do know one thing Rebecca really wanted was a 'first reveal', but Kyle was adamant about saving that special moment for the isle...and LOOK! He can't take his EYES off her! Makes me smile...

So, after Formals, we snuck away for a moment to have a 'pretend reveal' - you can see all Kyle wanted to do was seduce her with his smolder....!

Niels & I absolutely LOVE when the Bridal Party is as upbeat & fun as the Bride & Groom - when I 1st met Rebecca & Kyle several months ago, they promised a FUN night! What a fantastic group! THANK YOU!

Having the opportunity to laugh - bust out at any given moment? Priceless! (especially THIS much!!)
